Intervention Research Grant

About this program

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) offers Intervention Research Grants of up to $100,000 for one year to support innovative, early-stage occupational therapy intervention research and generate preliminary data for larger studies. Applications are encouraged to address racial, social, and health inequities and promote inclusion of underrepresented populations. Eligible principal investigators are early-career researchers with a terminal research degree or advanced research training, an academic or equivalent research appointment, and affiliation with an eligible U.S. domestic nonprofit institution. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, permanent residents, or have applied for permanent residence; a Letter of Intent is required before submission of a full application.
