Fremont Area Community Foundation Grants

About this program

The Fremont Area Community Foundation offers grants through the Fremont Forever Fund and Lester A. Walker Fund to support civic improvement, education, health and recreation, social services, and arts and cultural activities benefiting Fremont, Nebraska, and surrounding communities. Competitive grant applications are accepted quarterly, with requests of $1,500 or less potentially eligible for Mini-Grants and requests of $50,000 or more reviewed annually following a December 1 letter of intent deadline. Applicants must be IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, qualifying entities, schools, or governmental institutions; individuals are generally ineligible. The Foundation typically does not fund deficit financing, annual fund drives, ongoing operating expenses, or religious activities, and 2026 application deadlines are January 2, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
