ARAV Research & Conservation Grant

About this program

The Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV) offers Research & Conservation Grants of up to $5,000 for clinically oriented or conservation research involving reptiles and/or amphibians. Projects are expected to be completed within 12–18 months, with results presented at the ARAV annual conference or published in the Journal of Herpetological Medicine and Surgery. Clinically focused, conservation-based, and ARAV member proposals receive priority and are evaluated for significance, relevance, feasibility, and methodology. Applications are due annually on October 1, with funding decisions made by April 1 of the following year.
