ARIA: Sustained Viral Resilience

About this program

ARIA is offering £1 million to £8 million per team for projects lasting up to 4.5 years to develop sustained innate immunoprophylactics that provide durable, broad-spectrum protection against respiratory viruses. Funding spans Explorers, Accelerators, and Translators technical areas, covering proof-of-concept research, enabling tools and platforms, and clinical translation or commercialisation. Applications are invited from individuals and interdisciplinary teams in academia, research institutes, startups, established companies, and public research organisations, with applicants eligible from the UK or overseas. Concept papers are due by 10 November 2025 at 17:00, followed by full proposals due 22 January 2026.
