ARRS Research Scholarship

About this program

The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), through The Roentgen Fund, offers a two-year Research Scholarship providing $180,000 to support early-career faculty conducting radiologic sciences research with potential to transform radiology practice and advance leadership development. Applicants must be ARRS members, hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, have completed residency and fellowship training, and hold a full-time radiology or nuclear medicine faculty appointment in the United States or Canada within five years of their first faculty appointment. Candidates must be eligible for American Board of Radiology certification, have departmental support and at least 20% protected time, and may not have previously received specified competing awards. The application deadline is October 6, 2026.
