Art History Travel Fund

About this program

The College Art Association’s Art History Travel Fund awards instructors up to $10,000 for student and instructor travel, lodging, and admission fees to exhibitions in the United States or abroad that directly support qualifying undergraduate or graduate art history courses. Grants support classes of no more than 15 students and cannot fund meals, incidental expenses, permanent collections, performances, or temporary installations. Applicants must hold current CAA individual membership, and their institution must have current CAA institutional membership in good standing. Applications require a CV, course materials, justification of expertise and educational relevance, itinerary, budget, and departmental support letter; deadlines are October 15 for spring 2027 exhibitions and April 15 for fall 2027 exhibitions.
