Art Study Opportunity for Youth Grants

About this program

The Southwest Minnesota Arts Council offers Art Study Opportunity for Youth Grants of up to $500 to help young artists attend enrichment camps or pursue specialty arts study during FY 2027. Funding may also support standard weekly lessons, such as piano or voice, for students who qualify for the federal free or reduced-price lunch program. Eligible applicants are youth entering grades 5–12, and applications must be submitted by the first of each month from August 2026 through May 2027, or until funds are exhausted, with required supporting materials.
