About this program
The Southwest Minnesota Arts Council offers Artist Equity Grants of up to $4,000 to support projects that advance the skills and artistic careers of eligible artists. Funding is available for projects beginning November 1, 2026, or May 1, 2027, with application deadlines of September 16, 2026, and March 17, 2027, respectively. Applicants must be artists who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color; LGBTQIA2S+; people with disabilities; or veterans, and must propose an eligible career-development or artistic project.
