Arts Capital Grant

About this program

The Maryland State Arts Council offers Arts Capital Grants of $50,000–$500,000 for the expansion, construction, renovation, production, or major repair of accessible arts facilities, with priority for energy efficiency, disability access, and expanded community service. Maryland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits with annual operating budgets under $3 million must own or lease a physical Maryland property, with at least five years remaining on the lease, and either participate in eligible MSAC programs or provide public arts-based cultural experiences. Applications are due August 28, 2026, through SmartSimple.
