Arts Project Support (APS)

About this program

Indiana Arts Commission’s Arts Project Support (APS) grants fund public-facing short-term arts projects or a series of arts activities—examples include performances, exhibits, festivals, public art, arts learning for targeted populations, and arts/cultural planning. The program’s goal is to expand access to arts experiences across Indiana and will be offered twice in FY2027: Spring deadline 3/5/2026 for projects 7/1/26–6/30/27, and Fall deadline 9/3/2026 for projects 1/1/27–12/31/27. Applicant eligibility is organizational (past recipients include municipalities, libraries, arts groups, schools and nonprofits), and organizations may receive one APS grant in FY26 and one in FY27.
