ASA Keryn Christiansen Research Grants 2027

About this program

The Australian Society for Antimicrobials (ASA) offers two Keryn Christiansen Research Grants for 2027—one for original laboratory-based research and one for original clinical-based research—each providing up to AUD 25,000 to fund project-specific costs. Funds must be used strictly per the approved project budget and cannot be applied to institutional infrastructure or overheads; preference is given to stand‑alone projects that align with ASA aims and to early‑career researchers. Applicants must be financial ASA members, with the Principal Investigator having held membership for at least 12 months; required materials include the online ASA application form, the PI’s CV and Head of Department confirmation of departmental support.
