About this program
The Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) funds the First Book Subvention to subsidize publication costs for first-time authors who have secured contracts with presses. Multiple competitive awards of up to $2,500 each are made annually and are paid directly to the press; the submission deadline is September 1.
