ASPET Division for Neuropharmacology Mentoring Award

About this program

The ASPET Division for Neuropharmacology Mentoring Award recognizes members who have made significant contributions to mentoring, supervising, and teaching neuropharmacology trainees. The annual award includes a $1,000 honorarium, plaque, up to $1,000 in travel expenses and complimentary meeting registration, a two-year Executive Committee invitation, and an opportunity to present at the ASPET Annual Meeting. Nominees must be ASPET members in good standing who have mentored trainees from diverse, underrepresented backgrounds; self-nominations and nominations by eligible ASPET members are accepted from academia, industry, government, and other organizations. Applications require a CV and bibliography, biographical summary, nomination letter, two trainee recommendation letters, and a two-page mentoring statement; nominations are due September 21, 2026.
