ASPET Neuropharmacology Early Career Award

About this program

The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) offers the Neuropharmacology Early Career Award to recognize an outstanding independent investigator conducting research in any area of neuropharmacology. The award includes a plaque, complimentary ASPET Annual Meeting registration and up to $1,000 in travel expenses, and leadership and speaking opportunities within the division.

Applicants must be early-career investigators no more than 15 years beyond their doctorate, preferably in independent positions, and must be ASPET members in good standing with Neuropharmacology as their primary division. Self-nominations and nominations by ASPET members are accepted through September 21, 2026, and require a CV, 150-word biography, two support letters, and verification of financial independence.
