About this program
The Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ASTR) offers a nine-month Mentorship Program to support members through dissertation completion, the academic job market, early career development, tenure preparation, and major career transitions. Participants are matched as mentors or mentees and connect at the 2026 ASTR Annual Conference and throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. Applicants must be current ASTR members and conference registrants, and must submit the mentorship agreement and code of conduct by October 12, 2026. Priority is given to applicants who have not participated in the program during the previous two years, although matching is not guaranteed.
