Be More Grant 2026

About this program

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) offers five Be More Grants of $10,000 each to support members developing cutting-edge products, projects, services, concepts, or nonprofits that advance technology and contribute to world betterment. Eligible applicants include NSHSS high school, college, and lifetime members with established innovations in areas such as STEM, social impact, sustainability, medicine, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. Applications must include a 500–1,000-word project description, evidence of the innovation, a grant-use business plan, recommendation letter, headshot, transcript, and academic résumé. Applications are due September 1, 2026, and the top 10 finalists will compete in a virtual Shark Tank-style event on November 7, 2026.
