About this program

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development supports the Ben Franklin Technology Partners Challenge Grant, which provides businesses with capital, business expertise, and technology commercialization services. Funding supports development and commercialization of new technologies and projects involving the generation, conservation, and transportation of alternative and clean energy, through grants, loans, or equity investments. Eligible applicants include entrepreneurs, start-ups and early-stage companies, investors, higher education institutions, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners alumni companies, including individuals, businesses, and schools.
