Best Research Paper Awards

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations’ Family Therapy Section offers two annual Best Research Paper Awards—one for a student and one for a new professional—to encourage scholarly activity and recognize emerging leaders. Each recipient receives a $300 cash award and certificate, presented at the Family Therapy Section Annual Meeting during the NCFR Annual Conference. Applicants must be current NCFR and Family Therapy Section members, be students or within three years of graduation, serve as first author, and be prepared to present the paper at the conference. Papers may be submitted for award consideration after acceptance for conference presentation, with applications due October 1.
