About this program
The Internet Society Foundation’s Beyond the Net Grant Program funds Internet Society Chapters to implement locally impactful projects advancing community connectivity, affordable and reliable access, online trust and safety, or an open and trustworthy Internet. Eligible applicants are Internet Society Chapters in good standing with an official bank account, current reporting compliance, and registration in the Foundation’s Fluxx grants system at least 24 hours before the 1 October 2026 deadline. Chapters may manage up to two simultaneous Beyond the Net grants totaling no more than USD 55,000; projects exceeding USD 20,000 require at least six months of implementation, and grants over USD 20,000 require an external partner.
