Biomaterials Days Grant

About this program

The Society for Biomaterials (SFB) offers up to $2,500 in matched funding for institutions hosting regional Biomaterials Days meetings in the United States during 2027, supporting scientific exchange, networking, education, and SFB membership growth. New programs receive dollar-for-dollar matching, while established recurring programs receive one dollar for every two dollars raised. Applicants must be institutions with a current, recognized SFB Student Chapter in good standing, and proposals should demonstrate student involvement, regional and non-SFB outreach, a keynote speaker, and member-recruitment strategies. Applications are due October 20, 2026; awardees must submit a post-event report with images, attendee information, and abstracts.
