BSSPD Research Award

About this program

The British Society of Prosthodontics (BSSPD) offers the Research Award of up to £10,000 to fund prosthodontics-related research projects, targeting early-career (pre-doctoral) researchers in any dental field. Applicants must have been BSSPD members for more than one year, arrange formal academic supervision from university-affiliated staff, and agree to remain members for three years post-award and to present the research at a BSSPD conference within two years of completion. Funds must be used directly for research-related activity and cannot cover personal salaries, staffing costs, unrelated travel or living expenses, general IT equipment, course or degree fees, or open-access publication charges; submit the completed application form by emailing G.McKenna@qub.ac.uk by 2 November 2026.
