Building Breakthroughs Capital Call

About this program

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) offers Building Breakthroughs Capital Call grants for capital projects that advance biomanufacturing innovation in the Commonwealth, including cell and gene therapies, monoclonal antibodies, small molecules, processing, quality, safety, and storage. In the previous round, up to $10 million was available, with approximately $750,000 awarded per project for work and equipment at nonprofit partner organizations. Applicants must be nonprofit institutions collaborating with at least one for-profit Massachusetts life sciences company to address critical biomanufacturing challenges.
