About this program

Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award in Business Management at the Universidad de Murcia supports a three‑month combined teaching and research residency to teach in UM’s MBA program (instruction entirely in Spanish) and collaborate with UM research groups in Business Administration, Management, Innovation, or Finance; up to one award with start options Sept–Nov 2027 or Jan–Mar 2028 (application deadline 15 Sep 2026). Financial support includes a monthly stipend of €3,200 (covers living/housing), a scholar travel/relocation allowance (€1,300), dependent travel and monthly dependent allowances where applicable, and host‑institution assistance finding housing and schools; final amounts and currency are determined by the Spanish Commission and Fulbright program. Applicants must be U.S. citizens (residents of Spain, dual U.S./Spanish citizens, and permanent residents of Spain are ineligible), be mid‑career or senior academics (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) with substantial business teaching experience, and demonstrate advanced Spanish (CEFR B2 / ACTFL Intermediate High or higher; external assessment required unless a native speaker).
