Call for Nominations - 2027 General Election

The Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP) is soliciting nominations for its 2027 General Election, offering members opportunities to serve in leadership and committee positions, including President-Elect, Vice-President-Elect, Board of Directors, and student representative roles. Self-nominations and nominations of colleagues are welcome, with an emphasis on developing a diverse slate of candidates. Nominees must be 2026 SSSP members and submit a brief description of their SSSP involvement and relevant experience by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 1, 2026.
