Cancer Prevention Research Fellowship

About this program

The American Association for Cancer Research, World Cancer Research Fund International, and Prevent Cancer Foundation offer a two-year, $130,000 fellowship beginning December 1, 2026, to support mentored postdoctoral or clinical research on primary cancer prevention. Funds support fellow salary and benefits, with up to 50% available for project-related research expenses. Applicants must hold a relevant doctoral degree conferred within the past five years, occupy a confirmed mentored fellowship position, and be AACR members in good standing by the September 22, 2026, deadline. There are no citizenship or geographic restrictions, but applicants may not hold senior faculty-level positions, pursue another doctoral degree, or concurrently hold an AACR grant.
