About this program
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) offers Career Development Grants of up to $8,000 to support women pursuing accredited certificate or short-term training programs for entry, transition, or advancement in fields where women comprise less than 50% of the workforce or senior leadership. Programs must begin between January 1 and June 30, 2027, and funds may cover tuition, fees, materials, transportation, and dependent care. Applicants must identify as women, be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents, hold at least an associate’s degree, and have applied to or been accepted by an eligible program; executive leadership applicants must be currently employed in an underrepresented field. Degree programs, post-baccalaureate programs, licensing exams, and previous Career Development Grant recipients are ineligible.
