About this program
The ARVO Foundation offers the $12,000 Carl Camras Translational Research Award to recognize young investigators whose fundamental scientific discoveries, concepts, or technologies have led, or show strong promise of leading, to clinical application in eye and vision research. Applicants must be age 45 or younger and may include student/trainee, early-career, or mid-career clinician-scientists and researchers. Eligible applicants are MIT regular members, with applications accepted from August 1 through October 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
