Carolyn Bailey Argento Fellowship for Vocal Performance

The National Opera Association offers the Carolyn Bailey Argento Fellowship for Vocal Performance to an outstanding participant in its Carolyn Bailey Argento Vocal Competition. The fellowship provides up to $50,000 annually for unmet graduate tuition, fees, and living expenses at a U.S.-accredited institution, for up to two years for a master’s degree or three years for a doctoral degree. Applicants must meet the competition’s division requirements, have completed or be completing an appropriate undergraduate program, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and intend to enroll in or continue a full-time graduate voice program. Candidates must demonstrate at least $5,000 in annual unmet financial need; the application deadline is October 1, 2026.
