Carroll County Foundation Grants (Stark Community Foundation)

Stark Community Foundation’s Carroll County Foundation awards discretionary grants, managed by a nine‑member board, to support a wide range of projects and programs that address local needs in Carroll County, Ohio. Eligible applicants are tax‑exempt private agencies, 501(c)(3) public charities, and government entities located in or directly benefiting Carroll County; religious organizations and private schools may be considered only if proposals are primarily secular and meet specified conditions. Grants typically will not fund routine operating support for well‑established organizations, debt financing, annual fund drives, conferences/recognition dinners, endowment funds, or multi‑station school computerization projects, and arts/recreation requests have additional criteria. Applications are submitted online via the Stark Community Foundation grant portal and are reviewed in four cycles with deadlines on Feb 1, May 1, Aug 1, and Nov 1.
