Catalyze Artist Fellowships

About this program

Mid-America Arts Alliance, with support from the Windgate Foundation, offers Catalyze fellowships to 25 individual artists annually in central Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta. Each fellow receives $10,000 in flexible practice-based funding, along with a professional development retreat, strategic planning, peer networking, and one-on-one coaching. Applicants must be at least 21, reside full time for at least one year and throughout the grant period in one of 31 eligible Arkansas counties, and demonstrate at least three years of creative practice in any discipline. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or provide a valid Social Security Number if selected; attend the April 25–26, 2026 retreat; and may not be current students, prior Catalyze recipients, or M-AAA employees or their immediate family members.
