CCCC Professional Equity Project (PEP) Grant

About this program

The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) offers Professional Equity Project (PEP) grants of $500 each to support teachers of writing—especially part-time/adjunct faculty—and independent scholars to attend the 2027 CCCC Annual Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 14–17, 2027; each award includes a $271 stipend, paid convention registration, and complimentary CCCC membership. Eligible applicants are part-time/adjunct instructors at two- or four-year colleges and universities, community partners, and independent scholars; self-nominations and multiple nominations from departments or individuals are accepted. Priority is given to part-time/adjunct status and applicants who have never attended a CCCC Convention, with additional consideration for nomination submission date, geographic proximity to the convention (encouragement this year for nominees from Baltimore and surrounding states), and distribution across institutions. Nomination forms (including nominee contact information) must be submitted by November 1, 2026; winners will be notified by January 2027.
