About this program
The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), through its Chapter Assembly and Society-at-Large, presents the Chapter Event of the Year Award to recognize an outstanding chapter event held during the previous July–June year. The award consists of a certificate presented at the ASIS&T annual meeting and may recognize technical programs, seminars, workshops, fundraisers, or joint events. ASIS&T chapters may self-nominate by submitting their Annual Report electronically by the stated deadline, with concise documentation addressing the event’s relevance, significance, creativity, quality, chapter benefits, and success in meeting its goals. Nominated events must achieve an average evaluation score of at least 80 out of 100.
