Charles H. Sternberg Scholarship

About this program

The Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences (AAPS), with corporate sponsorship, offers the Charles H. Sternberg Scholarship to support graduate students conducting research on macrovertebrate fossils. The annual award is $1,000, includes a one-year renewable Associate Membership, and is intended primarily for field collection and preparation of macrofossils.

Applicants must be active in field research and collecting and need not be AAPS members. Applications due November 1 must include a project and funding-use letter, recommendation letter, current CV or college transcript, and a recent photograph; applicants outside the United States must provide a bank account capable of receiving U.S. wire transfers.
