The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), through its Infrastructure Resilience Division, offers the Charles Martin Duke Lifeline Earthquake Engineering Award annually to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to lifeline earthquake engineering through research, publications, professional performance, or other notable actions. The award consists of a plaque and engraved lapel pin, with certificates provided to additional recipients in joint awards. Nominees need not be ASCE members and must be submitted by November 1 with a signed cover letter, CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.-vesm
