About this program
The Children’s Literature Association (ChLA) presents the annual Article Award to recognize outstanding English-language literary criticism on children’s literature published during the designated award period. Eligible articles must have been published two years before the award year, offer new insights or a significant scholarly contribution, and not be reprints. Authors or translators whose names appear on the article may submit or nominate articles online by August 31.
