About this program
CIGLR provides seed funding to Regional Consortium members for pilot research on emerging Great Lakes issues and rapid responses to environmental emergencies, with no application deadline. Any principal investigator from the Regional Consortium is eligible to request support. Proposed projects should establish preliminary data or research foundations for larger initiatives addressing Great Lakes science, management, conservation, or environmental risks.
