About this program
The New Jersey Council for the Humanities, in partnership with Atlantic Cape Community College, offers a free 12-week Clemente Course exploring war and reconciliation through literature, philosophy, art, and history. The September 24–December 17, 2026, course is conducted on Zoom, provides all materials at no cost, and may offer free college credit upon successful completion. Applicants must be New Jersey veterans or military-connected civilians; no high school diploma or GED is required, and VA benefits are not needed. Applications are due September 9, 2026.
