About this program

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) is offering $1.8 million in grants through its 2025 The Rescue Effect Campaign to support animal welfare organizations in promoting pet adoption and enhancing operations. Funds can be used for adoption-related expenses, including make-ready costs, marketing, waived fees, foster program expansion, and operational costs during the campaign period (August–October 2025). Eligible applicants are non-profit or municipal organizations in the U.S. with a 2024 intake of at least 100 dogs and/or cats, who must commit to hosting a minimum of two fee-waived adoption days each month during the campaign and meet ASPCA Grantee Organizational Standards. The application deadline is July 1, 2025.
