ClimateTech Fund

About this program

Connecticut Innovations’ $100 million ClimateTech Fund provides equity and blended financing investments of approximately $150,000 to $2 million per company for innovative ventures addressing climate mitigation, adaptation, and environmental protection. The fund considers proof-of-concept through Series B/C companies and fund-of-funds opportunities across energy, mobility, circular economy, water, food and agriculture, advanced materials, and related areas, with applications accepted on a rolling basis. Eligible applicants must be headquartered in Connecticut, create jobs in the state, or commit to establishing or expanding a Connecticut presence; international companies must establish a U.S. headquarters in Connecticut. Companies must demonstrate difficult-to-copy innovation and secure co-investors, as Connecticut Innovations generally seeks to invest no more than one-third of a syndicated round.
