Climatetech Testing & Demonstration Assets (TDA) Program

About this program

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) offers $1 million–$5 million capital grants through its Climatetech Testing & Demonstration Assets Program to support shared equipment, facilities, and real-world testing environments that help climatetech companies validate technologies and reach market. Eligible projects should support technologies at Technology Readiness Level 5 or higher and be commissioned within one to three years, with a useful life of at least 10 years. Applicants must be Massachusetts-based Entrepreneur Support Organizations with at least five years of operating history, including nonprofits, public or nonprofit universities, and public agencies; projects must be publicly accessible and include a 25% cost share, with at least 20% in cash. Concept papers are due September 4, 2026, and full applications are due November 13, 2026.
