The CAP Foundation, sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company, offers up to $5,000 for a four-week onsite training experience at Lilly’s Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory in Indianapolis in 2027. The award supports travel and living expenses while pathology residents conduct research focused on improving novel biomarker assays for clinical studies and gain exposure to clinical trial and diagnostic development. Applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited U.S. pathology residency program and have completed at least one year by the application deadline. Applications require residency program director endorsement, a recommendation and salary-support confirmation, a CV, W-9, headshot, and responses addressing research interests and goals; the deadline is October 23, 2026.
