About this program
The California Air Resources Board is offering up to $700,000 through its 2026–2027 Research Program Annual Solicitation to develop a replicable community science project assessing warehouse-related truck activity, equipment emissions, and impacts on nearby communities. The project must collect activity data at three or more distinct warehouse locations and produce an analytical framework to support statewide data collection, air-quality programs, and environmental justice policies. Eligible applicants are institutions, with proposals due July 31, 2026.
