Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia Research Funding and Support

About this program

The CARES Foundation supports Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) research through funding, participant recruitment, study support, and promotion through its community and affiliated Comprehensive Care Centers. Requests for research funding for the following year must be submitted by September 1, with the level of CARES support determined by the Board of Trustees. Eligible studies must originate from an established CAH program or accredited research institution, demonstrate clear benefit to the CAH community and potential for a long-term relationship with CARES, and maintain a nonpolitical focus. Applicants must provide required IRB approval documentation and use “Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH)” terminology rather than “DSD” to identify the condition.
