Connecticut Innovations Pre-Seed Investment

About this program

Connecticut Innovations (CI) provides up to $150,000 in pre-seed investment for technology-based companies, including those in bioscience, information technology, clean technology, photonics, and advanced materials. Funding supports pre-seed expenses and requires a 50 percent match from private sources. Eligible companies must be registered in Connecticut, have operated for fewer than seven years, generate less than $2 million in non-grant revenue, and have at least half of their employees in the state. Companies outside Connecticut may qualify if they are willing to relocate or expand there and must submit a pitch deck or business plan.
