About this program
The Archaeological Institute of America invites nominations for its Conservation and Heritage Management Award, recognizing exceptional achievements in archaeological conservation, conservation science, heritage management, or public education and awareness. The award honors individuals, institutions, or organizations whose work advances the preservation and interpretation of archaeological heritage. Nominees may be from any country and do not need to be AIA members or U.S. citizens. Nominations must include the nominee’s name, CV, and at least two letters of recommendation, submitted to awards@archaeological.org by September 15, 2026.
