Convention Inclusion Travel Grant

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) offers Convention Inclusion Travel Grants to support attendance at its Annual Convention and promote diversity in the field. Awards provide up to $500 plus convention registration, with funds disbursed after the convention upon submission of receipts. BA, MA, and PhD students in humanities or social sciences at any institution may apply if their studies, research, teaching, or service address the program’s inclusion-focused aims; applicants need not participate in a convention session. Applications are due August 31 and require a 250-word essay, CV, faculty reference letter, and session materials if applicable; recipients of the Graduate Student Travel Grant may not receive both grants for the same convention.
