About this program
The Texas State Historical Association awards the Coral Horton Tullis Memorial Prize annually for the best book on Texas history, with the winning author receiving $2,000 and a certificate at the TSHA Fellows and Awards Banquet. Publishers may nominate books published and copyrighted in 2025 or 2026 by submitting an entry form, individual nomination form, and four copies to the TSHA office by November 15, 2026. Books published after October 1 may be submitted through December 1 if copyrighted during the calendar year, and the winning author must attend the TSHA Annual Meeting to receive the award.
