About this program
The Spencer Educational Foundation offers Course Development Grants to support the creation or expansion of risk management and insurance (RMI) courses, curricula, and academic programs, particularly in new and emerging industry areas. Eligible applicants are accredited colleges and universities based in the United States or Canada, including institutions introducing RMI instruction for the first time; recipients must share applicable syllabi and course materials with Spencer and external partners. Applications are accepted three times annually, with 2026 deadlines of February 13, June 15, and October 1.
