Course & Event Funding Programme

About this program

Danish Data Science Academy offers the Course & Event Funding Programme to support community-driven courses, workshops, training, networking initiatives, competitions and hackathons that strengthen a national collaborative data science network across universities, public institutions and industry in Denmark. Eligible applicants are organisers of scientific/professional events and courses (including university PhD/postdoc courses and vocational training for public, hospital and private sector employees) that foster educational, interdisciplinary and collaborative activities in Denmark. Small Grants up to DKK 50,000 (for events with total budget below DKK 100,000) may be applied for year‑round with decisions in ~4 weeks; Large Grants up to DKK 100,000 (no total‑budget limit) follow calls with deadlines 15 February and 15 September (decisions ~6 weeks after). Grants are paid as reimbursements after the event upon submission of a final report, with a 5% administrative supplement to the approved payout; applications are evaluated by the DDSA Secretariat (small) or the Education & Networking Committee (large).
