Creative Aging Tennessee IV

About this program

The Tennessee Arts Commission, with support from E.A. Michelson Philanthropy, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, and the State of Tennessee, offers Creative Aging Tennessee IV grants of up to $4,000 for artist fees and supplies to provide sequential arts-learning programs for adults age 60 and older in rural communities and urban “art deserts.” Projects must run for 4–12 consecutive weeks between August 1, 2026, and June 1, 2027; grants require no match but are reimbursed after completion, with applications accepted on a rolling basis through April 1, 2027, or until funds are exhausted. Eligible applicants are Tennessee 501(c)(3) nonprofits legally chartered in Tennessee and governmental entities, including public colleges and universities, that possess a UEI. Programs must be accessible to local older adults, use a teaching artist from TAC’s Creative Aging Artist Roster, and include a signed or draft artist contract and sequential curriculum or lesson plan.
